Special Attacks

Neutral Special - Leaf Storm

Upon tapping the Special Button, Sceptile appears to just pose and return to idle... (1/3)

However, upon pressing and holding the Special Button, Sceptile will enter a charging state. This charge state ends if the Special Button is released, if the move is charged to max, or is interrupted with a dodge. This move's charge state is unique, in which Sceptile retains its current charge even if hit or knocked out. The bulbs on Sceptile's back glow brighter as its charge increases. Upon reaching full charge, Sceptile's bulbs will glow and flash prominently. (2/3)

When using this move with full charge, Sceptile unleashes a powerful projectile which carries anyone caught in its way, launching them with an explosion upon expiring or hitting a wall. If the projectile hits a floor, it'll "crawl" alongside it. (3/3)

Side Special - Agility

Sceptile rushes forward with an illusive dash. This dash can even go off-stage, but be careful. Once this move is used in the air, it can't be used again until landing on the stage or grabbing a ledge. (1/5)

When on the ground, this dash can be angled upward. (2/5)

When in the air, this dash can be angled downward. (3/5)

Additionally, when on the ground, Sceptile can run out of Agility, granting it a 50% increase to its run speed until it stops. (4/5)

Another unique feature of this move is if the Control Stick is held forward, Sceptile will cling to a wall if running into one. (5/5)

Up Special - Leaf Blade

Sceptile preforms a mighty uppercut with its blades extended, using the force to rise off the ground. (1/2)

If the Special Button is pressed, Sceptile will vanish before re-appearing with a plummeting strike. (2/2)

Down Special - Leech Seed

When on the ground, Sceptile plants a seed. Alternatively, Sceptile can plant this seed onto a wall if facing near one.(1/6)

When in the air, Sceptile tosses this seed downward. (2/6)

When planted on the stage, the seed will sprout after a little over a second, and will wither away after some time. If an opponent runs into this seed, it'll emit a single orb. This orb will travel to Sceptile, healing it and adding to Leaf Storm's charge upon contact. (3/6)

A planted seed is vulnerable before it sprouts, so enemies are capable of destroying it in a single hit most of the time. (4/6)

Not only can Sceptile plant a seed onto the stage, it can also plant a seed onto a nearby opponent. A seed will stick to an opponent's head before sprouting a second later. Once sprouted, the seed will leech off its victim every second, emitting an orb upon a successful hit. The seed will last for roughly 5 seconds, but can be shaken off by an opponent wiggling the Control Stick. (5/6)

Sceptile can only have up to 3 seeds active at a time. If all 3 seeds are currently on the field, then Down Special takes on a different property. Instead of throwing out a seed, Sceptile attempts to leech energy by itself. If this attack hits an opponent, Sceptile will heal by a small amount and gain a small amount of Leaf Storm charge. (6/6)

Final Smash - Forest Guardian's Wrath

Sceptile glares intensely in-front of itself... (1/2)

If anyone is in Sceptile's sight, it will close onto the nearest opponent, unleashing a flurry of strikes before launching them with a sun-boosted Solar Beam. (2/2)
